A short 1-word .org name: https://bit.ly/3QEX6Sg is better vs a long 3-word domain: UnitedVeinCenters-dot-com with centers in several states and runs heavy TV ads. dot-com isn't the best tld in healthcare with .org being preferred. The 1-word veins org domain is best!

The image below is our way of handling the Elon Musk Twitter rebranding for the now worthless "follow us on twitter" graphics which are assumed to be on 1,000s of websites...

By using Sortino, Sharpe & Profit Factor there's no need to look at wins & losses, % wins, daily drawdown, avg win vs avg loss and other trader stats. As far as we know its reflected in the 3 numbers. Make sure the minimums are met or exceeded: Sortino 1.0, Sharpe 0.75, PF 1.5

Webtrading @webtrading· Aug 14

We understand some trading 'experts' are saying the Sortino Ratio is more important vs better known Sharpe Ratio. Thus, when designing or modifying a trading strategy it's a good idea to concentrate on achieving the highest possible Sortino number.

Webtrading @webtrading· Aug 13

Studying these 3 'magic' numbers are basically all you need for tracking a trading strategy performance over time. Little need to look at profits & losses, win %, drawdown & other stats. Just be sure your strategy starts with at least minimum values << http://bit.ly/3lflEDM <<

Webtrading @webtrading· Aug 12

We discovered a new way to analyze trading P&L. It does NOT directly involve net profit or winning %. Keep a daily record of Sharpe & Sortino Ratios & Profit Factor. If the 3 numbers are above normal & good you can assume your strategy is good. https://bit.ly/3lflEDM

It's incredible how basic jobs with little if any skill or education required can pay so well. An Occupational Therapist I know charges $100-hour which I said was high but compared to UPS drivers it is not what with all the skills and education needed.

Peter Schiff @PeterSchiff· Aug 11

Since #UPS drivers will soon be earning $170k per year, it doesn't make sense for most people to borrow huge amounts of money to spend four years in college, for starting salaries of around $50k, when they can earn over three times as much right out of high school driving trucks.

It's puzzling so many traders trade Crypto, Stocks & Forex markets instead of Futures Markets, in particular CME Micro Future Contracts, i.e. MES & MNQ. Trading Micro's have numerous advantages, a few are very low commission and margin, high leverage, basically zero slippage, excellent liquidity and more.

Question for domainers: We received an inquiry asking for a price on one of our best website names. On the inqury form the person gave his name as "You Dontneedit" When we emailed Mr. Unknown asking for a name he became irate and again said You Don't Need it. What would you do?

What with the X twitter rebranding it makes the vast number of 'FollowUsOnTwitter' & 'FollowMeOnTwitter' images worthless. They need to be replaced with FollowUsONXcom & FollowMeOnXcom images & the zillions of text links also need replacing, a very big & costly job.

Q. When trading forex, bitcoin, stocks or commodity futures what's considered a good Profit Factor, Sortino Ratio & Sharpe Ratio? P.S. Webtrading domain is available >> https://bit.ly/3bN1VXO << Profit Factor is defined as amount of profit per dollar vs drawdown. A profit factor of 1.5 to 2.0 or more is considered good.

Sortino Ratio measures risk-adjusted return of investment, only considering downside volatility. A Sortino ratio ranging from 1.0 to 2.0 or more is considered good. Some trading experts now believe Sortino to be superior vs the better known Sharpe.

Sharpe Ratio measures excess return (above risk-free rate) per unit of total risk. A Sharpe ratio from 0.75 to 1.0 or better is considered good. P.S. These 3 valuable trading tools are free in TradingView when doing strategy deep back-testing and performace summary.

Somehow the left side, which describes the type or kind of market prices vs technical indicators divergence (regular, hidden or exaggerated) was not shown before. Here is that left side:

Webtrading @webtrading· Aug 3

Divergence patterns can be extremely valuable in helping a trader decide if market swing highs and swing lows, pivots and trends are strong or weak. It's relevant in all the markets. i.e. forex, bitcoin, futures markets, commodities, stocks and more. The pictures below (chart on top in black, technical indicator in red below) is a great visual guide to divergence. It's difficult to describe what divergence is in text. We believe the best and maybe only way is by using charts and pictures. P.S. Does anyone know how using words?

Last month was the hottest July ever recorded. Look at the amazing daily temps! Luckily the pool pool water was surprisingly comfortable all month. P.S. Last 4 days of mo not on chart were also above 110.

Sadly, a lot of crypto, meme & alt coins are basically garbage, with ongoing massive frauds, hype, rug pulls and more. Do you know of projects that actually have true revenue, real products or services to sell, and makes profit? I believe the answer may be near zero.

Richard “Dick” Whitman (🌎/21M) @GhostofWhitman· Jul 31

No they aren’t

The other stuff is completely garbage and enables fraud

Just closed MNQ trade using good risk management. Starts with small $60 SL. 1st bump-up SL was a $24 loss, next moved SL to break-even risk-free trade, Next TP was hit with $235 profit which is good for 1 Micro futures contract >> https://bit.ly/3bN1VXO <<

Do you agree, this is the most beautiful girl in the world? She looks totally amazing. P.S. We have known her and spent lots of time with her since she was a child, she's now in her 20s.

Once again, bumping SL helped however still lost money as trade never went far enough in green to move SL to break-even, or small profit, so lost $36 on MNQ today. A little satisfying because it's a real small loss.

Today marks 25 consecutive days over 110 and no rain since Feb or March. It makes you wonder how the animals, birds and still green cacti, trees & plants survive in the very dry desert? No sign of temp dropping much in near future.

Long ago we posted on the incredible hyped-up prices of NFT's and how an NFT is basically worthless as all you had was an htm image link and no actual image or a trademark. To make it worse the link could go away at any time if its server was shut-down. Chart below from CoinGecko.

What with the skilled coders working at GoDaddy I am sure search could be done very easily and at little to no cost since the coders already are employed. Hard to believe after several years it was never done!

Webtrading @webtrading· Jul 24

That's also somethng I have wondered about for years. Seems real odd it's been unimportant to Afternic after all that time. I am guessing they may have never understood or thought about its significance.

Bob Hawkes @AGreatDomain· Jul 24

Exactly. I can't understand why improving it is not the most pressing task at Afternic. I am sure better search would lead to significantly more sales for them (and us all).

Happened again today, Gann said "never let a winning trade turn into a loss." So today the MNQ contract had some equity, with $68 SL. So edited my SL and TP and it reversed with high volatily avoiding a $68 loss with a $75 profit ($143 net). Again, not much $ but satisfying.

Webtrading @webtrading· Jul 22

Today I read W.D. Gann said "never let winning trade turn into a loss." A few min after reading it my MNQ contract had $60 equity, with $75 SL. So I bumped-up my SL to $25 profit and it quickly reversed so avoided $75 loss with $25 profit ($100 net). Not much $ but satisfying.
